Two years after landmark police reform law in Mass., what has changed?

Two years after former Gov. Charlie Baker signed into law a landmark police reform bill, advocates and lawmakers central to its creation are reflecting on the progress of the law enforcement licensing agency the legislation created, which recently suspended 15 officers from across the state.

It has been a long path to some of the first major actions by the Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission one marked by regulatory fights, lawsuits, and months of legislative arguments in 2020 over what the commission would look like and what new reforms to the law enforcement community should be enacted.
