New Zealand February exports 5.23bn (5.47bn prior) & imports 5.95bn (7.42bn prior) | Forexlive

While the deficit in the month is way below expectations and that for January, the slump in imports will be viewed with suspicion. Falling imports are usually a sign of weaker domestic demand. This would fit with the NZ economy moving towards recession.
