• YoY food prices increased 9.6%

In July 2023 compared with June 2023:

• fruit and vegetables prices fell -4.1% (down 7.8 percent after seasonal adjustment)
• meat, poultry, and fish prices fell -0.3%
• grocery food prices rose +0.2%
• non-alcoholic beverage prices fell -0.1%
• restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices rose +0.4%

YoY in July 2023 compared with July 2022:

• fruit and vegetables prices increased +6.2%
• meat, poultry, and fish prices increased +9.3%
• grocery food prices increased +11.9%
• non-alcoholic beverage prices increased +9.1%
• restaurant meals and ready-to-eat food prices increased +8.9%
