Iran has issued an evacuation warning for residents of Haifa, Israel. Over the weekend, a missile barrage launched by Iran struck key infrastructure in Israel, including the Bazan oil refinery in Haifa and the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot.

The attacks, carried out late Saturday into early Sunday, were in retaliation for Israeli military actions targeting Iran’s nuclear program. While no casualties were reported, the strikes caused damage to pipelines and transmission lines at the Haifa refinery—Israel’s largest. Though core refining operations remain functional, other parts of the complex were shut down. The company is still assessing the full operational and financial impact, with no timeline yet for when affected facilities will resume normal operations.
