WH: Call between Trump and Zelenskyy was misinterpretted | Forexlive

Earlier today, the Financial Times reported , President Trump reportedly asked Ukrainian President Zelensky during a July 4th call whether Ukraine could strike Moscow if the U.S. supplied long-range weapons. Zelensky is said to have responded affirmatively, stating, “Absolutely. We can if you give us the weapons.” Trump reportedly signaled support for the idea as a means to pressure Russia into negotiations and encouraged Zelensky to intensify deep strikes on Russian territory.

The White House is now saying that the call between Trump and Zelensky was misinterpreted. The was merely asking a question.
