Crude oil futures settle at $63.15 | Forexlive

The price of crude oil futures are settling at $63.15. That is up $0.52 or 0.82%. The high-priced today rates $63.64. The low price was at $62.78.

Typically, the price remains below the 50% of the trading range since the 2020 low. That level comes in at $64.71. Ultimately if the price is to move higher, getting above that midpoint level is required. Back on April 23, the price briefly moved above that level to a high of $64.83 before rotating back to the downside.

Ukraine and Russia will talk on Thursday. Pres. Trump has said he may attend the meeting, but does not know whether Russia’s Putin will be there.

Today, the weekly crude oil inventory showed a surprise build of 3.454 million barrels versus expectations of -1.078 million estimate.. The gasoline inventory showed a drawdown of -1.022 million versus -0.561 million estimate.
