US President Biden will meet House leader McCarthy for debt ceiling talks on Wednesday | Forexlive

On Wednesday February 1 US President Biden will host Speaker McCarthy for a meeting at the White House.

Biden’s schedule says the meeting is to “discuss a range of issues” but its really all about the debt ceiling negotiations. McCarthy has said his Party will not cause a debt ceiling crisis but McCarthy has little control over the Republican Party’s radical faction in Congress.

Negotiations are going to get much uglier before they get better.
