Major US stock indices mixed in early trading | Forexlive

The major US stock indices are opening mixed with the Dow and the S&P trading lower and the Nasdaq up modestly. Yesterday the major indices moved up modestly. The Dow Industrial Average rose 72.17 points. The S&P index rose 12.18 points and the NASDAQ index rose 72.04 points.

• Dow Industrial Average down to -100.74 points or -0.31% at 32788.36
• S&P index -2.27 points or -0.06% at 3979.96
• NASDAQ index up 7.74 points or 0.07% at 11474.71
• Russell 2000 up 7.45 points or 0.39% at 1903.72
