  macroeconomic situation and policies of the two countries and the

• China expressed its concern, both sides will maintain communication
• Two sides also had discussions on bilateral economic relations, and

There are significant and ongoing strains in US – China relations. The two sides do work together, as indicated by this from China’s Ministry of Commerce, but developments such as diversifying supply lines away from capricious Chinese law will continue.
